Custom Gasket Mfg. specializes in precision gaskets and seals for the lighting industry.
We provide custom gaskets and seals for lighting products such as flood lights, wall lights, ceiling lights, LED fixtures, architectural and landscape fixtures, fluorescents, and lamps. Custom Gasket Mfg. works closely with customers in order to provide them with the most effective sealing solutions to meet their most demanding lighting applications.
Lighting gaskets and seals provided by Custom Gasket Mfg. provide long term weather protection and reduce heat build-up, extending the life and performance of your lighting products. Lighting enclosures are exposed to varying climate conditions which can impact the effectiveness of the product. Gaskets and seals must have excellent compression set characteristics along with high, long term resistance to the environment to effectively seal out undesirables. Water, dirt, and dust can also degrade the performance of the lighting unit. The leading cause for lighting failures is rapid changes in the external temperature that can cause dramatic pressure changes inside the lighting enclosure. If the internal pressure is not equalized, the resulting vacuum will draw in contaminants and moisture, increasing condensation and eventually causing the lighting unit to fail. In order to avoid this occurrence, Custom Gasket Mfg. assists you with the proper material selection for your lighting application and ensures that all gaskets and sealing products meet your blueprint specifications and tolerance requirements.
